PROS:

• Great project to do together. Customizable using available options included in kit.

CONS:

• Difficult for a child to put together completely by his/herself. Included adhesive tape wasn't very strong.

LOWDOWN:

• I did this with my younger sister after her 7th birthday. I was hoping to let her put it together by herself for the most part since it said for ages 5+ and I would assist during the difficult parts, but I found myself involved in every single step. Our other sister, age 13 assisted also halfway through.
  
  The provided white glue was good enough, but I really didn't understand the double sided adhesive tape because it didn't really hold anything down very well (I was very tempted to pull out my hot glue gun). On the plus side, it provided a good 1 hour bonding time for us, as there was a lot of cooperating involved, fingers getting sticky, glitter getting everywhere - you know, the typical fun stuff that happens when you get to do arts and crafts with kids. After all the hard work we did together, it is still displayed at home for all to see.
